Sutton Hoo in Suffolk, England, is the site of one of the most significant archaeological digs in British history. The ship burial produced the greatest collection
of treasures ever discovered in the UK, and rewrote the early medieval history of England. Buried in a chamber, built into the centre of the ship, was believed to be King Rædwald of East Anglia, many precious artefacts of pottery, metalwork, gold and gems were uncovered.
