"...In 1982 the Celtic Council of Australia (CCA) was formed in Sydney and in 1988, Australia's Bicentenary, CCA considered creating a physical and permanent reminder of the Celtic cultural contribution to the Australian way of life. They invited applicants in NSW asking if they would like to be involved in the building of a Celtic commemorative circle of stones and the hosting of appropriate festivals at the site.  There was no applicant more suited or more positive than Glen Innes...."

This 103 page book, filled with photographs and illustrations is a historical report of the dedication of Glen Innes people and a testament to their preservation of Celtic settlement history and culture, even by those who grew up with an entirely different background.
